CURO Honors Scholarship

Our CURO Honors Scholarship application will help you highlight your strengths and give us insight into your research interests, potential, your work ethic, and your academic background.

The application for the CURO Honors Scholarship is available online at (CHS 2019 Application / see above link). Interested applicants must have completed their UGA application before they can complete the CURO Honors Scholarship application. The deadline for online application submission is February 1. The submission portal will close and no further applications will be accepted beyond this date.

Recommendation letters for CURO Honors Scholarship Applicants may be submitted via email to curo@uga.edu by February 1, or by physical mail (address below). If mailed through the postal service, letters must be postmarked no later than February 1.

Deadlines that fall on a weekend or holiday will be extended to the following business day. Applicants will receive e-mail confirmation once their completed application is received. Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

CURO specifically invites students from underrepresented groups to apply, though all prospective students may apply and be considered. 

Required Materials:

Complete CURO Honors Scholarship submission, including uploads:

  • Single-sided, 1-page resume

  • Letter of recommendation (Applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of recommendation from a current or former teacher)

  • Transcript (Official transcripts are preferred, but not required)
